BITSTAMPS represents an innovative advancement in the realm of digital collectibles, functioning as the first application dedicated to collecting entirely digital stamps, underpinned by Blockchain technology that assures both uniqueness and ownership.

Through the BITSTAMPS app, users are granted the opportunity to purchase digital stamps at the moment of their release, with clear assurance regarding the total number of stamps produced and an acknowledgment of their status as certified owners.

This platform closely aligns with the traditional model of philatelic collecting, where BITSTAMPS offers collectible digital stamps that resonate with various themes and interests of its user base.

 <li>Each new digital stamp release is announced, providing details on availability until stock depletion.</li>
 <li>Information regarding the date of issuance, number of editions available, pricing, and sales dates is clearly communicated for every new stamp.</li>

Once a stamp is acquired, it is seamlessly integrated into the user’s personal album within their profile. Each digital stamp is categorized within a thematic collection and users can access the "Stamps" section of the app to view all collections. Here, they can track issued stamps, identify which ones they already possess, and note which they still seek.

Additionally, collectible digital stamps serve a dual purpose; they can be used to send E-Cards alongside personalized messages. Upon delivery, the digital stamp affixed to the E-Card becomes the property of the recipient through Blockchain certification that ensures ownership transfer.

The received stamp will be marked as "used" and will automatically populate the recipient's personal collection album, which can be viewed in both their profile and the "Stamps" section. In this area, users are able to monitor their holdings of both new and used stamps, along with their respective Blockchain certifications, history, and prior ownership changes.

Upon expiration of the sales period for any given stamp or once a stamp reaches "sold out" status, users have the option to resell their stamps or acquire others from fellow collectors via the upcoming BITSTAMPS Marketplace.

This Marketplace will empower collectors to engage in personalized negotiations for resale. They will determine pricing while ensuring that ownership transfers remain certified through Blockchain technology.
